We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Handle customer complaints in accordance with the stated customer complaint guidelines at your store
• Maintain a neat, clean, personal appearance at all times
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Assists store manager in maintaining proper inventory levels and assists in the preparation of regular inventories
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Know and follow company policies and procedures
• Physically able to lift at least forty (40) pounds

Skills

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Good math skills and cash handling
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• High school degree

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
